Overcrowding
Do not overcrowd your business card. Only contain the vital information which is your Logo, website, contact details and company name. There is no need for added images or text. Keeping it simple will work best.

Colours
Consider the colours which you are using. If you already have branding for your company I would recommend using the same colour scheme. This will help your business card to flow with your other branding.

Text
As mention before it is important you do not include too much text on your business card. However, it is important that any text you do include is easy to read. You need to choose a font and font colour which works well with your previous colour choices. As well as being easy to read.
